Blogtober 17 – Autumn Colours

The main reason to love Autumn in my opinion is the gorgeous display put on by nature at this time of year. I’ve seen several comments by people saying that the Autumn colours are not as good this year due to the dry weather. However, that is certainly not the case here in Leicestershire. As we drove up the M1 yesterday, the trees were a blaze of yellow and gold with occasional splashes of red and orange.

These are some of the photos I have taken over the past couple of days as I walked around my village.

The beautiful displays have been made even better by the fact that the weather has been so lovely this month with day after day of lovely blue skies and warm sun.

Happy Autumn/Fall to everyone πŸ‚πŸ

  1. The colors are beautiful! Alas, it’s still very green here in Texas. But the weather has recently turned, so hopefully it will happen soon for us.
