Top 5 Tuesday – Top 5 Books that I meant to read in 2022

It’s Tuesday and the 6th of December. Happy St Nicholas day!!! Did St Nick come and visit you last night?๐ŸŽ…

Welcome to this week’s Top 5 Tuesday post. Top 5 Tuesday was created by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm, and it is now being hosted at Meeghan reads!! For details of all of the prompts for Oct to Dec see Meeghan’s post here.

This month, we’re all about wrapping up the year and this week’s post is those books that you meant to read but never quite got around to. I’m actually quite good at reading books fairly quickly and so don’t tend to have that many that I haven’t got round however, I have found 5 that I did mean to read this year and just haven’t.

I don’t know why I haven’t got around to read this final book in the Green Bone Saga yet. I loved the first two but just haven’t managed to read this final book. It is on my list of books to read this month so hopefully I will tick it off before 2023

I love Brian McClellan’s Powder Mage books but haven’t got round to starting this one just yet. Actually, it’s because I’m waiting for the paperback release ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I bought both Lirael and Her Dark Wings a couple of months ago and they have just sat on my bookshelf ever since.

I don’t know why I haven’t got round to reading this. I loved the Broken Earth trilogy but this has sat on my bookshelf for over a year now and I haven’t picked it up.

That’s my collection of books that I meant to get round to reading this year but haven’t managed to.

What would your list look like?

  1. I havenโ€™t read any of these either but they all look wonderful. Iโ€™m sure I have a list that is totally ridiculous for the books I hoped to read in 2022 but didnโ€™t ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

  2. I like the look of Jade Legacy. You did good only having 5 books that you meant to read but didn’t get too. I know my. number will be much higher
