This weeks question is: Do you have a favourite reading nook? (Submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer))
The answer to this question is ……… it depends. Where I love to read books depends very much on the season.
At the moment, as it’s very cold and dark, my favourite place to read is in a corner of my lounge on a small settee that’s right next to the radiator. I can curl up with my book and be toasty warm
When the weather is brighter though, I migrate over to the opposite side of the room and sit on the comfy chair right next to the window so that I have lots of light and can look out into my garden. This is probably my favourite place to read. The chair has big flat arms that are just wide enough to put a book on so my next read is already waiting for me to pick up. It also has a lovely squishy cushion that moulds beautifully so the chair is always comfortable.
And then when the weather improves even more, my favourite place to read is outside in the garden.
To be honest, provided the chair is comfortable and I’m nice and warm, I don’t really mind where I read.

Your house sounds like it’s full of great reading spots – I’m really jealous! My favorite place to read has always been my bed, although the apartment I’m currently living at came fully furnished and has this couch that I’m definitely also a big fan of 😁 I’m going to miss it a lot when I move again!
It’s just quite a big room that I switch from chair to chair according to the weather 😀
Like many of us readers, I can read anytime, anywhere. Fave place is probably not the most frequent place. I most often read at my desk at work (lunch) or desk at home (hubby has TV on). It sounds like your fave places are delightful – outside is excellent when the weather allows.

I forgot about reading outside! Our weather has been so horrible lately that it totally slipped my mind. But when the weather is nice it is wonderful to sit in the garden and read!
It’s important to feel cozy while reading! ^_^ I’m usually on the couch with a crocheted blanket or, now that our fireplace is basically done, in front of it with another blanket.
No, I do not have a nook. I sit in my recliner upstairs looking out the window in the daytime and at night I move to the recliner by the fireplace. In the summer, I read outside and in Florida, I read by the pool or on the balcony. One place I don’t read is in bed, because I fall asleep.
I have a comfy recliner that I read in all year round. Sometimes I do go outside to read when it’s warm
I used to like curling up on my chair with a book, but it does vary with season. I also enjoy reading outdoors (up on the terrace) when the weather permits.
I have a similar chair and it’s my favorite reading spot.
No book nook. I usually read on my couch.
